I am a researcher and teaching assistant
in the Department of Design at Shantou University.
In 2020, under the guidance of Prof. Han Ran, I obtained my master's degree in design at Shantou University. During master's period, I studied social information design with Prof. Brigitte Hartwig at Hochschule Anhalt University in Germany.
I am interested in Design and its intersection with Society and Anthropology.
My research topics are Community-Driven Co-Design, cultural heritage, public service and participatory design.

From design manager, researcher, to starting my own studio, these different experiences are interrelated and serve the same goal:
to explore the ways in which research and practice can be combined.
2020 - Present
Research Center for Rural Art Construction, STU
Our centre mainly researches sustainable development in poor villages. I participated in two projects, one in a town with rich bamboo forests, and the other on an island that preserves ancient culture. My job is to study the local culture and uniqueness through field research, and then cooperate with the team to produce design.
In the past two years, we have produced the design plans of these two areas respectively. After submission to the regional government, the project is continuing as a postgraduate course.
I usually work on projects with interdisciplinary teams and local institutions. In the project, I am mainly responsible for field research design, project management and communication.
